Ms. Kamala K heads the Enterprise Risk Management across various vectors of risk as Chief Risk Officer at BSE. She is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has rich and diverse experience of more than 34 years in financial services and management.
Ms. Kamala has been long associated with financial markets in general and Market Infrastructure Institutions’ space in particular serving in diverse roles including being part of Boards. She has worked in multiple organisations like BSE, NSE, Edelweiss Group, BgSE, PFC, IIM-B etc. She has also been part of various reforms in capital market, actively participating in policy making through various Committees constituted by Regulators and Stock Exchanges.
Mr. Sethi pioneered international investing in India. He joined Morgan Stanley straight out of Business School in 1989. Mr. Sethi founded the India business for Morgan Stanley Investment Management and was its Chief Investment Officer for 12 years. Under his leadership, Morgan Stanley became one of the earliest, large FII's to come to India.
Mr. Sethi has been one of the early entrants in some noteable investments, such as Infosys, HDFC, Titan, Zee Television, Hero Motors, among others.
Mr. Sethi runs his own investments.
Jainendra Shandilya is currently working as Deputy General Manager in the Market Regulation Department of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) where he looks after policy and development related work. He joined SEBI as Manager in 2001 and has worked in various departments within SEBI including Investigations, Enforcement, Enquiry & Adjudication, Communications and the Office of Central Public Information Officer.
Previously, he was a Faculty Member at the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), where he taught, Fixed Income and Derivatives. At NISM, he was also Program Director of Post Graduate Diploma in Quantitative Finance (PGDQF), Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science (PGDDS) and Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Engineering and Risk Management (PGDFERM).
Jainendra has over 20 years of experience in Banking and Securities Markets and he has published various articles on Securities Markets, which have been carried out by various newspapers, magazines, journal and research exchanges portals.
Jainendra holds Master Degree in Economics and is also CFA and CAIA charter holder. He also leads the CAIA India Chapter at Mumbai.
Vaisshali has overall experience of more than 30 years in capital market spread across her tenure with Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd., Syntel State Street, DSP Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas and now BSE Clearing House. She comes with extensive experience in the fields of custodian operations, project management, risk monitoring and strategic investment group along with trade, cash & FX.
She has expertise of managing global setup wherein global clients’ investments across multiple jurisdictions need to be facilitated. Vaisshali has taken care of variety of roles across operations, product, relationship management, business development, process enhancement.
In her previous role, Vaisshali was the key person in setting up the securities services business in India for BNP Paribas.
Vaisshali is active member of various industry groups and working closely with Indian regulators on the topics of development of Indian capital market. She has been member of Advisory Committees of both clearing houses in India – NCL & ICCL. She was elected as Convenor for India SWIFT SMPG wherein she will be representing India at Global SWIFT forum by coordinating all the custodians & brokers in India.
Vaisshali’s deep insights and understanding of the capital market has enabled her to be active part of leading industry group and panellist at ASIFMA, IFLR, FIX and similar other events. She is regular speaker at business schools and other financial institutions like NISM.
Vaisshali holds master’s degree in commerce from Mumbai University with business administration qualification from Symbiosis, Pune having specialization in Finance. She has been continuously upgrading herself with key executive programmes from IIM - Rohtak, IIM – Bangalore, IIM – Kolkatta and other global leading schools.

Anshuman Das is the Chief Information Officer of Sharekhan which is wholly owned subsidiary of BNP Paribas. Sharekhan is one of the top retail brokerages of India, which pioneered online broking in the year 2000.
In the past year at Sharekhan, he has been working towards complete Digital Transformation of the 23 year old company. Sharekhan has launched its retail use APIs in this period.
Prior to Sharekhan he was the CTO at Edelweiss Global Markets where he managed the Algo and HFT trading business. Before that he was with Citigroup, where he was instrumental in bringing the first global HFT players to NSE. He also led the India development team for low latency Global Market Access and was the global lead for unified cross asset pre-trade risk system. He is an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and also holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
Suryadeep heads the Electronic Trading business in Kotak Institutional Equities.
He has more than 12 years of experience in sell-side Institutional Equities – primarily in Electronic Sales Trading – with a background in Equity Research, Quant Research and APAC Equity Risk & Facilitation.
Prior to joining Kotak, he was a part of Deutsche Bank’s APAC Electronic Sales Trading Team.

Roland has helped Liquidnet expand its geographical presence since joining in 2012. An initial focus on continental European members quickly expanded to include several strategic London accounts. He has also developed the trading platform expansion in emerging markets, including the launch of the on-shore South African market. In September 2016, Roland relocated to APAC to lead Liquidnet’s business development and market structure efforts in the Asia-Pacific region (currently active in 14 markets) including China.
Roland’s recent focus has been on breaking down the complexities of new market structure for Asia-Pacific based clients, particularly as enhanced workflows like Conditionals grow in the APAC region.
Roland has a depth of industry experience, previously working at Bloomberg in 2005 before working in Seychelles on the equities desk of an Austrian quant-driven hedge fund in 2009. Antoine de Saint Vaulry is leading the ETF initiative for CITI in APAC based in Hong Kong.
Antoine started his career in 2001 at Société Générale on the Equity Finance desk in Paris, and moved in 2004 to join the Securities Finance department of Commerzbank in London. In 2010, he relocated to Hong Kong to lead Commerzbank’s Delta 1 and Securities Financing Trading team.
From 2012 onwards, he has been in charge of setting up and developing Commerzbank’s award winning Asian ETF Market Making platform.
He joined CITI in September 2018, to build and grow Citi’s ETF Market Making capabilities in APAC and globally, as APAC Head of ETF trading.
He recently expanded his remit to cover Sales and Business Development for the ETF initiative across CITI’s different businesses.
With a wealth of knowledge and expertise in equity products, Antoine is a frequent contributor to the ETF world, whether it is speaking at conferences, roundtables and workshops or being quoted in articles around Asia.

He has been with CLSA over 5 years now as part of the market microstructure team and Electronic trading team. He has a stellar academic record with a Gold medal in academics from IIM-Bangalore.

Mr. Garf oversees product strategy, product marketing, product delivery, go-to-market planning across all NICE Compliance solutions. Koel leads efforts to build the passive community in the region. She is an active advocate for passive investment and in her previous association with S&P Dow Jones Indices as Head of South Asia along with being the CEO for the joint venture with BSE – Asia Index Private Limited, she contributed to the rapid growth of Indian passive markets through industry thought leadership platforms, media engagements, podcasts, and client partnerships. Narendra Hegde is a Vice President for Sales & Marketing at HKEX. Based in Singapore, Naren is primarily responsible for the exchange’s sell-side and buy-side relationship management in South Asia and the Middle East.
Naren has over 18 years of experience in business development and technology within the Finance industry. Prior to joining HKEX in 2022, he has spent more than a decade with SGX where he was responsible for the exchange’s South Asia, Middle East and Thailand businesses.
Before joining SGX, he was one of the pioneer employees of the Singapore Mercantile Exchange (now under ICE). Naren has also spent some years at Credit Suisse APAC, where he helped to develop the bank's Advanced Execution Services, and UBS Japan.
Lakshmi Iyer is the CEO of Investment advisory business at Kotak Investment Advisors Ltd. (KIAL). She has been with the Kotak Group for over 22 years.
As part of KIAL, she is responsible for investment advisory, product solutions spanning across fixed income, equities, real estate and alternates.
In KMAMC in she was CIO Fixed Income & Head – Products. In this role she was responsible for credit research, deal execution, managing fund performance across all debt funds and assisting sales in client interaction. Anant is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Greenland Investment Management, a global systematic hedge fund manager managing close to USD 1 billion in assets. Anant has 16+ years of experience managing institutional and proprietary capital via systematic investment strategies.
Prior to Greenland, Anant co-founded India's first onshore hedge fund, Forefront Capital Management, a systematic investment management firm. He successfully sold Forefront to Edelweiss Financial Services in 2014.

Winnie Khattar is Head of Market Structure for ETF & Index Investing (EII) Markets & Investments in APAC. In her role, Winnie is responsible for providing thought-leadership and content on local ETF market structure and develop the ETF industry in the region, by discussing with regional regulators, exchanges and market participants, advocating industry standards for ETFs and driving sustainable policy reform. Winnie works closely with BlackRock's businesses across Global Public Policy Group, iShares and Index Investments, Fixed Income and Trading Liquidity & Lending to ascertain the full impact of any structural change and guide unified opinion. She also engages with asset management associations and regulators on cross-border trading, marketing and distribution of local ETFs in the region. Winnie is also deeply involved in BlackRock’s local ETF range product quality and secondary trading.
