Kumar Goradia looks after business development and general operations of the Tower Research Capital group in India. Prior to that, he was the country markets technology manager at JP Morgan India. Kumar has also managed the equity, listed derivatives, and operations technology initiatives of Citigroup Global Markets in the country.
Earlier he looked after application technology, algorithmic trading, quantitative studies, and India access products for the Institutional business of MF Global India, as well as treasury technology at ICICI Bank. Kumar began his markets career at a private Indian brokerage, where he ran arbitrage trading, B2B franchise solutions, clearing, risk management, compliance, back office, & sales.
Kumar has served on the BSE's technology committee, and is currently the Co-Chair of the India Working Group, FIX Trading Community. Kumar has a B.E. from the University of Bombay, and an M.S. from Virginia Tech in the United States.

Jim Northey has over twenty five years' experience as a manager, consultant, and implementer. He is senior partner in The LaSalle Technology Group, LLC, an engineering and products company that provides connectivity solutions for the financial markets.
Jim is active in financial messaging standards by regularly contributing to the FIX and ISO 20022 standardisation efforts. Jim serves as a FIX Global Technical Committee Co-Chair. He previously served as Co-Chair of the FIX America’s Regional Committee and the FIX Global Derivatives Committee. Jim represents FIX Trading Community within ASC X.9 as the Co-Chair of the X9D Subcommittee for securities processing, which is responsible for US standards.

His other Board Memberships include that of National Power Exchange Ltd, Asian Indices Pvt. Ltd., The BSE Institute Ltd. and Institutional Investor Advisory Services India Limited (IIAS).
Nehal started his career with Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in 1996. He spent the next 10 years in various functions including the Derivatives and New Products Department, covering policy, product and process innovation in areas of derivatives. He implemented the T+2 rolling settlement and system of Straight Through Processing for the Institutional trades.
After making his mark at SEBI, Nehal joined DSP Merrill Lynch Ltd as Director, Law and Compliance. Here, he headed the Broking and Investment Banking Compliance for a period of 3 years. In recognition of his commitment and dedication to the Compliance Function at DSP Merrill Lynch, he was awarded OGC Living the Mission Award in 2008 by Merrill Lynch.
In 2009, he joined BSE Limited and today heads all the Regulatory functions of BSE Ltd. including membership compliance, surveillance, inspection, investigation, regulatory communication, investor services, listing compliance and regulatory legal.
Nehal is the Chair of the Cyber Resilience Taskforce of The Affiliate Members Consultative Committee (AMCC) of The International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). This is the first such committee on cyber resilience which analyzed cyber preparedness of SROs and Market Participants across the globe and has given considerations on a Micro and Marco level to face cybercrime.
